Junior Product Manager 

As a Junior Product Manager, you will work closely with Agile development teams (Product Managers, Developers, Stake Holders, etc.) to build new features and products.

You will be responsible in helping design, define, and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from user story definition and planning through production, release, and end-of-life. You must have a strong customer focus, willingness to drive competitive analysis through technology and market research, the ability to work Agile process as a Product Owner, develop and manage roadmaps and interact with engineering to guide them on requirements. Applicants must possess a collaborative style with a strong sense of urgency and desire to get things done.

This current Junior Product Manager position is a Telecommuting position and offers the flexibility of working remotely via a home-based office. This position is fast-paced and requires independence, collaboration, organization, communication, flexibility, curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion to solve problems and satisfy customers. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Become an expert on Reprints Desk Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, Article Galaxy 

  • Deep knowledge of the customer to help develop Products that solve problems

  • Help research and analyze usage trends

  • Help assess value, develop cases, and prioritize tasks to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

  • Build relationships with internal Product Managers, Developers, Stake Holders, etc. to build, deliver, and test software modules 

  • Help develop and manage roadmaps while communicating with internal teams on Product Development needs

  • Assist in the management of product feature needs and prioritization

Requirements 

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • This is a Full Time position, and candidates must be flexible with their working hours

  • Must have 1 - 4 years of proven experience in a software product management role

  • Agile Product Management experience is desired

  • Must have a strong technical background and experience working with development teams

  • Experience with Web, Mobile, and native Windows & Mac products

  • Microsoft Office Master (Specifically Excel)

  • Familiarity with Programming Languages is a plus

  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical product requirements for development

  • Strong business acumen is desired with the ability to adapt to changing business needs

  • Excellent communication skills with business and technical leaders

  • Self-learner and starter to find answers to tough problems

  • Works well autonomously and understands where to invest time/energy

  • Knows how to explain something that is complex, in a simple way
