Shane Hunt

Director of Sales and Marketing

Shane received a Masters Degree in psychology from CSU, Chico, in 2002, and took advantage of his education and experience to co-found Research Solutions. His natural strengths and abilities make him a perfect fit for the Director of Marketing position. He has been fundamental in spreading the word about Research Solutions through attending industry conferences, designing marketing materials and his infectious positive attitude.

Christopher Atwood

Director of Operations

Chris co-founded Research Solutions after also receiving a Masters Degree in psychology from CSU, Chico. His previous management experience segued well into the Director of Operations position, where he continues to implement new ideas and technologies into the document delivery process. His encouraging words and open-door management style are essential to the company's effectiveness and productivity.

Heather McNary

Delivery Supervisor

Heather was born and raised in Chico, CA. She left for a short period of time to attend Humboldt State University where she earned her B.A. in Psychology. Shortly after she moved back to Chico, she began working for Research Solutions where her attention to detail and high quality standards made her the perfect choice for a Deliver Supervisor. In December 2009 she was promoted to Operations Manager where she oversees the day to day operations. Heather loves Chico, as Northern California is centrally located between the mountains and the coast line.

Pete Dunning

Procurement Supervisor

Pete was born and raised in Chico, California. In 2004 he was the first employee hired by Research Solutions. Today he is the Procurement Supervisor and is in charge of the Search Team. Having been with the company since nearly the beginning, Pete understands the needs of our clients and always puts their interests as his highest priority. In his spare time Pete likes to play poker, write, and work on his passion project, RoadRoyalty.com.

Matthew Daugherty

Client Relations

After finishing his studies at Chico State, Matt took off for the Bay Area and spent a good while writing music and exploring the California coastline. In 2007, he returned to Chico and found work with a growing company called Research Solutions. After some time, he started helping out with marketing and sales, and that's where you'll find him today. Outside the office, his time is spent enjoying music, gardening and learning to cook with his wife.

Kraig Durgan

Sales Representative

Kraig Durgan has been a resident in Northern California for over 20 years. He earned a B.S. degree from Chico State in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Kraig has utilized his degree to work in sales, sales management and marketing positions since graduating college in 2003. He joined the Research Solutions team in October of 2010 as a sales representative to promote the great service we offer to new clients. In his spare time Kraig enjoys being with family/friends, playing golf/tennis and reading.

Thomas Brooks

Software Engineer/IT Department

Tom joined Research Solutions in the fall of 2008 in the Data Entry department, but his attention to detail made him a good fit as a Document Delivery Specialist; later, his background in web design and strong computer skills were a good match for IT and Software Engineering.

Heidi

Accounting

After receiving her college degree, Heidi moved to Chico, CA to raise a family. Her children have since grown and her husband has retired as a college professor at California State University, Chico. For the past 4 years Heidi has been an integral part of our accounting department. Currently she is our Accounting Manager and enjoys every moment of her time here at Research Solutions. Heidi is a very valuable asset and helps keep our finances flowing.

Lauren

Search Specialist

You could say that Lauren grew up in a library. As the daughter of an elementary school librarian, she was constantly shelving, repairing and checking out books to students in her "free" time. She volunteered at the library at her Jr. High, and then her library career took off when she landed a job in the library at Shasta College. She went into school with the intent of being an elementary school teacher; however, the library has been calling her back, and she has been looking into Masters in Library and Science programs. Working at Research Solutions has confirmed her future career choice.

Ruth

Search Specialist

Ruth received her Bachelor's degree in math and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but has used neither subject in her professional life. She has instead spent time working with databases, providing technical support, and editing for clarity and factual accuracy. In 2009 she joined the Research Solutions team and put her natural curiosity for information to work.

KelliAnne

Document Delivery Specialist

KelliAnne grew up in Chicago, Illinois and recently graduated from University of Iowa with a B.B.A. in finance. She moved to Chico last year and has grown to love Northern California and the Northwest. During football season, you will find her rooting on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Bears. And when asked, "Would you rather Iowa win the National Championship or the Bears win the Superbowl?" The answer is National Championship.

Document Delivery Specialist

Mike was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. After graduating high school in 2005, he began working for an environmental contracting firm as an office assistant, while also pursuing a B.S. in mathematics. He joined the Research Solutions team in 2011 shortly after moving to Chico, where he is finishing his degree at California State University, Chico.

Zach

Data Entry

After earning his B.A. in American Studies from Chico State, Zachary decided to make his home in Northern California. In the fall of 2010 he joined the Research Solutions team, where he handles data entry and assists the search, delivery and marketing departments. When he's not busy making sure our client's orders are properly placed, he rocks the bass guitar and enjoys vegetarian cuisine.
